On the first Tuesday of each month, we will recreate a work of art, starting with a brief history on the artist and the piece. Come every time or just come for the pieces that interest you.
No artistic expertise necessary. Come paint, relax, and socialize. This is a time to simply enjoy being in the moment and let go of the outside world, expectations, and perfectionism.
In December, we will be rendering our own versions of a woodcut Faith Ringgold created for her book, Tar Beach (1993).
Painting supplies will be provided. This program is intended for adults.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not an art class.
Listed by Meetup: Huntersville, NC, gathered by the Fort Mill events calendar.
