Reading Buddies & Homework Help (Drop-In)

About this event

Students in grades K-5 will work with volunteers to build confidence and complete assignments in 30-minute 1:1 educational support sessions. Reading Buddies focuses on the joy and power of reading! The volunteer may read aloud to your child, your child may read to the volunteer, or they may take turns reading! With Homework Help , your child will get help completing an assignment or practice math or reading skills. Sessions will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis depending on volunteer availability. No pre-registration is required. Homework Help and Reading Buddies programs at Pineville Library are closed on Library holidays and CMS Early Release & Teacher Work Days. Note: While our homework help program is intended for student support, it is not a tutoring service. Volunteers provide help and guidance to the best of their ability, but are not certified teachers. Volunteers do not complete assignments for students.
