- ➤ Britton Nash from Fort Mill was named to the Fall 2025 President’s List at USC Sumter — over 90 students achieved a 4.00 GPA on at least 12 credited semester hours. Tega Cay Sun
- ➤ Three local students from York County earned honors on Ole Miss’s Chancellor’s Honor Roll for Fall 2025 after achieving GPAs between 3.75 and 4.00. University officials praised their academic dedication and noted they met the credit and probation requirements. Tega Cay Sun
- ➤ Fort Mill School District will serve more South Carolina-grown produce in meals as it joins the Certified SC Cafeteria program — adding local fruits, vegetables, grains and honey to boost healthy eating and support local farms. It is one of 67 districts to earn extra incentives for high local sourcing. Tega Cay Sun
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ DPH has launched a new dashboard that offers detailed data on mosquito-borne illnesses like West Nile Virus, malaria and dengue for residents seeking prevention tips. The tool updates every other week during high mosquito months (May 1 through Nov. 30) and monthly when activity is low. Tega Cay Sun
