- ➤ Fort Mill teens from various faith communities gathered at Grace Presbyterian Church for the second annual Interfaith Night of Service where 25 youth assembled Manna Bags filled with essential supplies for those experiencing homelessness. - ➤ Fort Mill High School named senior baseball player Alex Carreiro Athlete of the Week after he pitched six innings (allowing no hits and striking out nine batters). - ➤ Fort Mill School District is asking for community input in its search for a new superintendent by inviting parents, teachers, and residents to complete an online survey open until midnight on March 24th — the board will also hold a Community Forum on March 20th at 6:00 p.m. at the Training and Support Center on Deerfield Drive. - ➤ Plans for a large riverfront development in Fort Mill have been proposed by Florida-based Kolter Group Acquisitions to build more than 600 homes on an 845-acre site — near the Waterside at the Catawba community.
