- ➤ South Carolina lawmakers are debating a bill that could legalize sports betting for adults — the proposal would allow online and in-person wagers and impose a 12.5% tax to generate between $13 million and $31 million in revenue annually. - ➤ On Monday, March 17th, Fort Mill High School sports teams delivered strong performances—its baseball team beat Clover 4-2 and its men’s lacrosse team won 14-1 over Dutch Fork. Nation Ford’s lacrosse squad also won 11-7 against Riverside while Catawba Ridge’s baseball team lost 4-3 to Northwestern, leaving the Copperheads with a 2-2 region record. Tega Cay Sun
