- ➤ The SCDMV has fixed a computer error that blocked over 17,000 teenagers from being registered to vote in time for the general election. The glitch—where voter registration details failed to reach the State Election Commission—was discovered after a lawsuit filed by the ACLU, and future applications will now be processed correctly. - ➤ South Carolina residents planning to fly or visit federal sites must get a Real ID by May 7 to avoid travel delays—only 62% of drivers have upgraded so far. The Real ID costs $25, shows a gold star, and travelers can still use a valid U.S. passport or military ID instead. WRHI
