- ➤ The Clover School District announced its 2025-2026 Teacher and Support Staff of the Year honorees from each school — selected by their colleagues for excellence. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Dr. Hall of Hall Chiropractic Center explained that losing belly fat means losing weight from the whole body—no exercise targets fat in one spot. He said that checking the waist-hip ratio and eating a healthy diet with full-body exercise can help lower risks from harmful belly fat for Fort Mill residents. Tega Cay Sun

- ➤ The Fort Mill Yellow Jackets softball team dropped their seventh straight game with a 9-5 loss to the Clover Blue Eagles Tuesday, falling to a 3-8 record after two losses against Clover this season. - ➤ The Fort Mill High School golf program is preparing for its 7th Annual Yellow Jacket Classic on May 8 at Tega Cay Golf Club with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start — a four-person Captain’s Choice tournament open to all skill levels. Teams pay $500 per team or $125 per player to support the boys’ and girls’ programs — funds that will cover travel and essential equipment. Tega Cay Sun
- ➤ A single with two outs by James Carlin in the top of the seventh gave the Catawba Ridge Copperheads a baseball win over Nation Ford on April 9 and clinched the series with a four to two victory—game three is scheduled for today at Catawba Ridge after a schedule change due to rain concerns.
