- ➤ The Fort Mill High School girls lacrosse team won 18-8 against T.L. Hanna on Monday evening and advanced to the Class 5A Division 2 state championship. They will face Lucy Beckham High School at Irmo High School on Saturday, May 3 at 3:30 p.m. Tega Cay Sun
- ➤ Fort Mill junior midfielder JJ Gomez scored all three goals on April 29 to lead his team to a 3-0 win against Indian Land at Bob Jones Stadium — one goal from a solo run, one from a penalty, and one from a finishing shot — while head coach Henry Kalungi praised his effort. - ➤ Fort Mill Lady Jackets won a tight softball game when an attempted sacrifice fly turned into a game-ending double play — the umpire ruled the runner left third early to secure a 10-9 win, and head coach Skyler O’Mara said the team gained momentum after spring break as they prepare to finish region play against Nation Ford on May 1.
