  • The Town of Fort Mill has activated mandatory water conservation rules after the Catawba Wateree Drought Management Advisory Group declared a Stage 2 drought. Residents and businesses must limit non-essential water use — including lawn irrigation and vehicle washing — to cut usage by 5-10% as required by town ordinance.  Tega Cay Sun

  • The Fort Mill High girls’ lacrosse team won its third Upper State title on May 5 after beating Riverside 18-10, with junior Cece Shia scoring eight record-setting goals; the team will travel on Friday to Irmo High School for the 5A Division II state title match.  Fort Mill Prep Sports
