- ➤ The Town of Fort Mill has activated mandatory water conservation rules after the Catawba Wateree Drought Management Advisory Group declared a Stage 2 drought. Residents and businesses must limit non-essential water use — including lawn irrigation and vehicle washing — to cut usage by 5-10% as required by town ordinance. Tega Cay Sun
