- ➤ The St. Philip Neri Italian Festival will run from May 15—May 17 in Fort Mill with food, live music, children’s activities, artisan booths and wine and beer tastings offered both indoors and outdoors. The event opens May 15 from 5:00—9:00 p.m. with silent auctions and live performances, and later days will add a children’s parade, fun run and charity events that support church ministries. - ➤ At the Humane Society of York County in Fort Mill, two adoptable pets are featured this week: Gertrude is a three-year-old calico cat who adjusted well after being surrendered and Gander is a four-year-old mixed breed dog who has waited over 1,000 days for a new home.
