- ➤ Carowinds will honor military personnel this Memorial Day weekend by offering free admission for active, retired, and veteran members — and it will also offer a 50% discount on up to six extra tickets for friends and family — when tickets are purchased online by May 26. Tega Cay Sun
- ➤ Carowinds will honor active, retired and veteran military personnel by waiving park admission fees during Memorial Day Weekend (May 23-26) in recognition of their service. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Fort Mill School District Board met on May 20, 2025, where trustees honored three administrators, updated the superintendent search, approved the first meal price increases in five years, and proposed a sports fee hike for middle and high schools — decisions that will affect district families. The board also reviewed a surplus transfer for new classroom setups, athletic equipment, and digital records, and approved bonds for capital projects. WRHI
