GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A new state law now requires all children under 12 to wear seat belts in golf carts on public roads and sets rules that drivers must be at least 16 with a valid driver’s license — the law also limits golf cart use to daylight hours unless a local change permits nighttime driving. Tega Cay officials will meet on June 10 to review a proposed ordinance that will update city codes to match the state requirements. Tega Cay Sun
