- ➤ Metro Diner opened its first restaurant in the Indian Land/Fort Mill area on July 7 at 2077 Parkway Drive, Suite 101 in the CrossRidge center. The diner is known for modern takes on comfort food and currently serves from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily while planning to extend hours to serve dinner soon. WRHI
- ➤ SCHNEEBERGER, a Switzerland-based precision manufacturer, has chosen York County in Rock Hill for its first South Carolina facility—where it will lease a 42,000-square-foot building at 656 Red River Road and invest $3.2 million to create 101 jobs over the next five years. Operations will begin in the fourth quarter as the company supports local customers in electronics, medical, and packaging industries. WRHI

- ➤ The Fort Mill School District announced its free and reduced-price meal policy today for children in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, setting income and household size guidelines effective from July 1 through June 30.
