  • On Saturday, September 27, Catawba Fest 2025 in Tega Cay will feature Fort Mill’s School of Rock and the new Children’s Entrepreneur Market, where young entrepreneurs and musicians will show their talents at Catawba Park. The festival will begin at 10:00 AM—offering live music, arts and crafts, and food trucks to create a festive fall atmosphere for families.  Tega Cay Sun

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Steven Peeler, an assistant principal and longtime defensive coordinator at Clover High, has been named the new athletic director at Lake Wylie High School and will finish his season at Clover before starting his role — his appointment brings extensive experience to the Chargers.  WRHI

SPORTS NEWS

  • Rock Hill will host the 2025 ACL World Championships from July 28 to August 3 at the Rock Hill Sports Event Center—this season-ending event will feature pro matches, amateur divisions, and over $700,000 in prize money while drawing more than 10,000 fans and competitors. Broadcast sessions will air on major networks later in the week.  Tega Cay Sun
