He claims that after he raised concerns on June 19 and a stop-work order was issued which led to his termination on July 7—he is seeking compensatory and punitive damages along with a jury trial. - ➤ A State House rep is pressing for emergency measures to ease traffic issues near Fort Mill School District as growing congestion during pick-up and drop-off times raises safety concerns—officials plan to work with district leaders to address the problem promptly. WRHI
- ➤ The Fort Mill School District announced updated traffic patterns for several schools including Tega Cay Elementary—crossing guards will now focus solely on assisting pedestrians at designated crosswalks, and vehicles will be required to exit with a right-turn only rule during drop-offs and pickups. Officials said the changes come after recent tragic incidents and legal clarifications on crossing guard duties, and they urged parents to review the new email guidelines for a smooth transition.
