Good morning, Fort Mill.

On August 14th and 15th, the Tega Cay Police Department arrested four people for having fentanyl — two of them from Fort Mill — and set bonds between $5,000 and $8,000.

Jarman Lamar White, a 38-year-old from Rock Hill, pleaded guilty to trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine after he allowed his girlfriend’s home to serve as a secret lab where agents found pill press machines, and he now faces up to life in federal prison pending sentencing—federal agents linked him to a major drug ring.

Dr. David Hall of Hall Chiropractic Center in Fort Mill advises runners to ease knee pain by increasing cadence by 10% and leaning forward at an 8–10 degree angle—steps that reduce strain on their knees.

He recommends using a metronome app for a steady pace and consulting a running physical therapist for lasting relief.

Lightning and rain delayed a preseason scrimmage at Nation Ford High School where Catawba Ridge built a 14—0 lead before officials stopped the game and canceled Fort Mill’s scrimmage in the White Rose Classic at York late Friday.

Officials plan to reschedule the canceled game for Saturday so teams can prepare before the regular season starts on Aug. 22.
