- ➤ South Carolina legislators on February 5 rejected Melissa Inzerillo for the 16th Circuit judicial seat covering York and Union counties—she had been the sole candidate after York County Magistrate Jennifer Colton dropped out—and only 4 of 12 York County lawmakers supported her, prompting the reopening of the selection process. - ➤ Fort Mill Yellow Jackets opened their season with a 52-6 win against Ballantyne Ridge Friday night at home—repeating last season's dominant start and setting a high scoring record for a season opener.
