- ➤ York County’s 2025 municipal elections will be held on November 4th with races in Tega Cay, Fort Mill, Clover, York, Rock Hill, Sharon, McConnells, Hickory Grove and Smyra—Fort Mill is holding an unopposed council race while other towns contest mayoral and council seats. Voters can choose absentee, early or Election Day voting and must check registration guidelines to cast their ballots. Tega Cay Sun

- ➤ Fort Mill’s Yellow Jackets swept both varsity and junior varsity races at the Trojan Invitational held September 6 at Northwestern High School — Connor Demmerle won the boys’ race in 16:04 and Kaylee Rovenstine finished second in the girls’ race.
