- ➤ Dugan Meredith led the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s team ‘Taking Care of Granny’ on September 8th in a local event to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s research—strengthening support for patients and families. WRHI
- ➤ The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control announced expanded resources and education for Sickle Cell Awareness Month in September to help people understand the blood disorder better — early screening will help catch the problem sooner. Officials said the steps aim to support those with the condition and guide families in managing the disease. WRHI
