- ➤ A new School of Rock will open this fall at 1018 Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill—offering music classes, private lessons, group rehearsals, live shows and online instruction for students of all ages. Tega Cay Sun

- ➤ The Catawba Nuclear Station, set along Lake Wylie in York County, has powered local homes and provided jobs since it began operations in 1985 and 1986.
