- ➤ On Sept. 13, Fort Mill girls won the cross country team title with Kaylee Rovenstine finishing first in 18:16 while the boys came in second with Finn Leckrone running strong — the teams will compete at future meets before region championships. Tega Cay Sun
- ➤ Local high schools have a busy sports week from today to Saturday as Catawba Ridge, Fort Mill and Nation Ford schedule games in football, volleyball, tennis, golf and cross country with matchups set at various times and venues—giving local student athletes many chances to compete. Tega Cay Sun
