EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Fort Mill School District will host STEAM Day at Catawba Ridge High School on September 17 so students can visit more than 18 hands-on stations to learn about real-world jobs (including a Cobra Helicopter landing at 9 a.m.) presented by community partners and industry leaders. The event will help students see how Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math connect to future careers. Tega Cay Sun

- ➤ Tega Cay real estate showed strong growth in Q2 2025 — with new listings rising by 27% to 218, closed sales increasing by 35% to 167, and median prices holding at $650,000 — as homes sold faster with days on market dropping to 6, reflecting strong buyer demand. Tega Cay Sun
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday, the Fort Mill boys volleyball team lost to Boiling Springs Bulldogs in three sets with scores of 25 to 20, 25 to 21 and 25 to 19—dropping to a season record of three wins and seven losses as head coach Tamisha Martin said adjustments are needed after an injured setter. Fort Mill will host Blythewood today while the girls tennis team won five to one to improve their perfect record and the girls golf team lost to Catawba Ridge by fourteen points.
