- ➤ York County began its mandated 2025 property reassessment—required by state law to update market values and fairly distribute the tax burden—with the Assessor’s office using market data, permits, and property features to set values. - ➤ On Friday, the Northwestern Trojans beat the Nation Ford Falcons 75-21 — the Trojans held the Falcons scoreless in the second half while Fort Mill’s Yellow Jackets lost their first game in a close contest against Catawba Ridge. - ➤ Fort Mill High School’s cross country teams swept both the girls’ and boys’ varsity races at the Trojan Invitational held Saturday morning at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill—Alivia Cleveland led the girls with a finish at 18:50 while Connor Demmerle’s second place helped the boys win with all five scoring runners placing in the top 17.
