- ➤ Girl Power Carolinas launches its inaugural Fort Mill season for young female athletes in NFL FLAG football on November 2 at Springfield Elementary School — the league will hold practices at 1:00 p.m. and games at 2:00 p.m. each Sunday, guided by founder Logan Sandate to build confidence and leadership among K–12 players. - ➤ On Sept. 24, Fort Mill’s girls’ golf team won at Tega Cay Golf Club as Claire Collins scored a 41 while her teammates Lauren Venino, Ella Presley, and Skylar Sartwell added to the team effort—meanwhile, Catawba Ridge stayed undefeated by shooting a 169 at Fort Mill Golf Club and will face Nation Ford on Sept. 29.
