Girl Power Carolinas launches its inaugural Fort Mill season for young female athletes in NFL FLAG football on November 2 at Springfield Elementary School — the league will hold practices at 1:00 p.m. and games at 2:00 p.m. each Sunday, guided by founder Logan Sandate to build confidence and leadership among K–12 players.
On Sept. 24, Fort Mill’s girls’ golf team won at Tega Cay Golf Club as Claire Collins scored a 41 while her teammates Lauren Venino, Ella Presley, and Skylar Sartwell added to the team effort—meanwhile, Catawba Ridge stayed undefeated by shooting a 169 at Fort Mill Golf Club and will face Nation Ford on Sept. 29.
