- ➤ The South Carolina Department of Agriculture inspected 263 eateries in York County in September and found nine establishments that received B or C grades due to sanitation & food handling issues. - ➤ A recent WorldAtlas ranking named Fort Mill and Clover as two of South Carolina's liveliest towns for active seniors due to their mix of outdoor recreation and community events. - ➤ On October 2nd, the Indian Land Warriors beat the Nation Ford Falcons 3—1 in volleyball as late errors cost the Falcons the match and coach Amanda Scott noted that taking a set showed progress. Meanwhile, the Catawba Ridge girls’ golf team improved to 13—0 with wins over Indian Land and Northwestern, the Fort Mill girls’ tennis team edged Rock Hill, and the Nation Ford girls’ volleyball team advanced to 8—0 in Region 3—5A.
