- ➤ Denise Casey, a Fort Mill resident and nurse educator with over 30 years of experience in York County, is running for the Fort Mill School Board as she calls for more mental health support in local schools. - ➤ Dr. Hall of Hall Chiropractic Center in Fort Mill shared 52 random acts of kindness, including holding doors and paying for a coffee, + he encourages residents to brighten lives and build strong community bonds. Tega Cay Sun
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Eastside Eagles won the girls’ state swim meet at USC Natatorium — scoring 524 points compared to Fort Mill’s 495.5 — while Nation Ford and Catawba Ridge finished third and fifth. Fort Mill’s Lila Hadley won the 100-yard breaststroke and Catawba Ridge freshman Amelia Meehan earned her school’s first individual state title in the 100-yard backstroke in 56.81.
