Bryan Kaplan from Tega Cay launched a nationwide sports app called VRV Athletics this spring to help adults make real friends through organized sports activity — the free app matches users by skill and location to set up local play dates.
It is available on iOS and Android for anyone 18 and older.

Senior Ross Thompson of Fort Mill High School was named Athlete of the Week after scoring 36 kills and making 8 blocks in a key volleyball match—an award given by the local booster club and SuperChix—recognizing his leadership and hard work.
