- ➤ Residents should set their clocks back one hour at 2:00 a.m. on November 2 — wall clocks need to be changed manually while most devices update automatically. The time change gives everyone an extra hour of sleep and marks the shift back to Standard Time. Tega Cay Sun

- ➤ Indian Land won 3-0 against Nation Ford in the opening round of the 5A Division II playoffs with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-19—ending Nation Ford’s season at 13-14. Nation Ford head coach Amanda Scott said the team did not have enough power to match their opponent. Fort Mill Prep Sports
- ➤ Fort Mill High School's Yellow Jackets won the inaugural York County Girls Flag Football championship on October 20 by defeating Northwestern 27 to 12, avenging their only regular-season loss.
