- ➤ Fort Mill wrestling sought a fourth consecutive state dual title when they opened their season yesterday, building on last year’s 19-0 record and a strong showing at the Venom Duals at Catawba Ridge—head coach Adam Marullo said captain Lincoln Greene and other returning state qualifiers are gearing up for tougher meets including the Southern Slam from Dec. 5 to Dec. 6 and a home tri-match on Dec. 16. - ➤ At the 5A Division II state championship on November 22 at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, the Catawba Ridge team (the Copperheads) scored 309 points to finish second behind Chapin's 334 points.
